Island DiVine is a premier food, wine, spirits and beer tasting event presented by the Junior League of San Diego. The spring 2008 event is focused on delivering the experience of the Italian island of Capri. The event will feature a chic VIP lounge, a silent auction, and the elegant spirit of one of Europe's most popular island destinations.
At the 2007 event, more than 40 vendors provided divine samples to over 600 attendees. The event raised more than $58,000 to support the Junior League's programs and projects dedicated to inspiring learning and leadership through San Diego's schools, families and community.
Proceeds from Island DiVine will enable the Junior League of San Diego to continue its support of more than a dozen community agencies with an estimated 60,000 volunteer hours and over $150,000 in annual financial assistance. Our current community projects are dedicated to improving the health of San Diego's children through education, motivation and guidance.
